Preview: France v Mexico

This is a very important match for both teams. Uruguay almost confirmed their place in the second round after the win yesterday and they have good advantage on goal difference. So probably only one of this two would qualify. South Africa would not give up their pride and allow easy win for the French in final game, neither will Uruguay do as Argentina would probably await the runner-up of this match. So the outcome of this match would determine the fate of the teams. Mexico has reacted very poorly after they concede a goal against South Africa though eventually they manage to equalize. If France get an early goal today, I would fancy a win for the French today. But the young Mexican could prove to be too tough to handle by Gallas and Abidal. The situation in French camp has not getting much better recently. I would fancy a draw here to push the drama until the last minutes.

Man to watch (France): Eric Abidal
He usually play as left back at club, but he has to play as center back in France. He has done very well against the Uruguayan, but we must be noted that Suarez has an off day that time and Uruguay play rather conservatively that day. The energetic Mexican would provide some good test for him.

Man to watch (Mexico): Giovanni dos Santos
He has been superd in the first match. His pace and skill would be a big threat to the French defence.

Prediction: A interesting 2-2 draw on the card
