The defending champion did not play well in their opening, but their determination to come back and win the match was much obvious. They do have some talents in the squad. And New Zealand can hardly cope with that. New Zealand defence has done some silly mistakes when they played Slovakia but was lucky not being punished. But they would not be so lucky this time if they repeat such mistakes. Italy would win this, again, narrowly.
Man to watch (Italy): Simone Pepe
Arguably the best attacker in Italy's opening match, he would be relied upon to create some great chances for his team mates through some world class passing again.
Man to watch (New Zealand): Winston Reid
Facing Pepe,the young right back has to be again at his top form to stop his opponent. His confidence was boosted after an impressive performance last time around, hopefully it won't be dashed after this match.
Prediction: Italy to win 1-0
