This would be a do-or-die clash for Serbia. They need to at least get a point here in order to retain their hope of qualifying to the next round. Germany player who has already get used to the Jabulani ball fully utilized their advantage as they have shown against Australia. Serbia who lost Lukovic for suspension has to be extra careful whenever they go forward and in order for their defence not being emposed by some quick and precise passing by Ozil and Muller. Their strikers have to take their chances as well. Pantelic and Zigic just did not show up against Ghana and has to make huge improvements from that. This would be the first challenge for the young Germans on balancing their attacking play and defence well. A very interesting clash indeed and I would be fancy Serbia to spring a surprise here by snatching a draw.
Man to watch (Germany): Thomas Muller
The young forward surprised many with a brilliance performance against Australia. He has a tougher challenge today as he will face Kolarov on his flank, with Subotic, Vidic and Ivanovic form a great wall of defence on paper.
Man to watch (Serbia): Nemanja Vidic
Without his regular partner Lukovic, he has to lead the young and talented Subotic to defend well against the attacking German quartet.
Prediction: A 1-1 draw for both good teams
