Preview: Serbia v Ghana

Serbia a definite favourite going into this clash. They have a very good squad with some world cup and Champions League experiences. Vidic and Ivanovic would form a tough defence for any striker to test their skills and I don't think Gyan can beat them today. Stankovic and Kuzmanovic should dominate the midfield as they are too good in the sense of techniques and composure compared to the struggling Muntari and Appiah who have not played much games this season. Ghana would sorely miss their influential midfield Essien in this world cup. I don't think Mensah and his mates could stop the towering Zigic and clinical Pantelic along side with dangerous winger Krasic from scoring as well. However Serbia did struggling to gell well during warm-up matches. Anyway I still fancy them to play as a team like they did in the qualifying to beat the young Ghana team.

Man to watch (Serbia) - Dejan Stankovic
The experienced midfielder has a huge responsibility to organize their midfield and stamp authority in determining the pace of the game. I could see the battle of midfield would determine the outcome of the match.

Man to watch (Ghana) - Sulley Muntari
With Essien out injured, Muntari bear a great burden to put their midfield in the right shape. He has to regain his top form last season if Ghana is going to stand any chance to steal something out of the match.

Prediction: Serbia to edge through 2-1
